About the role

We are looking for a Junior or Mid-level Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to developing core back-end systems that power automated optimization of modern applications.

You will work on an innovative platform using AI to automate observability, testing, and tuning of software stacks. Collaborate with a talented engineering team to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs.

This role offers growth in software development, DevOps practices, and performance engineering, working closely with Product Managers and end users. Your ideas and contributions will matter from day one, helping bridge the gap between developers and users for better solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Develop our product by writing testable, shippable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews to share and establish best practices.
• Engage in team rituals such as daily stand-ups, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Refine feature requirements and design with product and engineering teams.
• Support testing and deployment using modern CI/CD tools.
• Evaluate design choices with senior engineers, considering scalability, reliability, and security.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of backend or full-stack development experience (including internships).
• Passion for building impactful applications at scale with modern coding practices.
• Experience with Java, REST APIs, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about cloud, performance engineering, and DevOps practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring, Elasticsearch, Python, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
• Interest in performance tuning and machine learning concepts.
