Lexroom is part of the legal industry revolution driven by Generative AI. So far, the results are promising : We grew customers 5x in the last 5 months, and over half of them save 8+ hours a week on research and drafting with our product. By joining us you will put AI to work and redefine the legal services industry as we know it.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be part of our Tech team, working closely with our CTO Andrea to develop and enhance the core technology behind Lexroom.ai. You’ll build scalable and robust backend systems, integrate advanced search technologies, and help optimize our cloud infrastructure.

What will you do

• Ensure the seamless integration of our backend systems with Frontend interfaces.
• Architect and bootstrap the backend infrastructure to support our NLP / ML algorithms and legal data processing pipelines.
• Design and develop intuitive annotation tools to facilitate the labeling and structuring of legal data.
• Craft scalable and efficient data structures to organize vast amounts of legal data.
• Work closely with data scientists and legal experts to continually refine our data processing pipelines and annotation tools.

Who We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in backend development
• Proficient in Python , or better you love Python
• Relevant experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with search technologies like Elasticsearch or Vector DB
• Experience with TypeScript , React , and working knowledge of Machine Learning is a plus, but not required
• Curious, proactive, and eager to make an impact, always exploring new ways to improve performance
