Jobtailor in Lomazzo, Lombardy is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and test features including RESTful APIs for billing and a customer portal frontend built with Vue.js.

You will support the full software development lifecycle, develop backend services, and integrate with external systems while maintaining documentation and improving performance across deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
1-3 years of experience in software development.
Strong knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
Experience with Vue.js or another frontend framework.
Understanding of API design and integration.
Basic knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
Interest in cloud technologies and modern software development methodologies.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP or similar).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Knowledge of system integration and microservices architectures is a plus.
Collaborative approach and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts.

Responsabilités

Design, implement, and test new features, including RESTful APIs for billing software and user interfaces for the customer portal
Support the development lifecycle of software features from design to deployment
Develop backend services, business logic, and integrations with commercial systems
Build and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js for operational and commercial workflows
Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Integrate third-party services and internal systems via APIs
Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues and ensure system reliability
Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation
Contribute to system improvements and performance optimization initiatives
Use GitLab for version control, collaboration, and code reviews
Maintain CI/CD pipelines
