We are seeking a Software Engineer (Digistat team) to play a key role in software development, implementation, and customization. You will collaborate with management and IT teams to define and deliver technical solutions aligned with organizational needs. Additionally, you will maintain a dynamic knowledge base of programming solutions to support an efficient IT infrastructure.

Your Contributions :

  • Coordinate software projects and provide customer support for Ascom UMS products, including Digitstat, Clingo, and Carefusion.
  • Implement and manage new customer support processes for software and related technologies.
  • Train and support team members, deliver customer training onsite, and contribute to training materials and courses.
  • Configure and oversee external customer support, continuously improving based on customer feedback and technical analysis.
  • Manage all technical support calls, including data extraction and analysis to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement.
  • Plan, execute, and maintain customer-focused implementation activities, ensuring effective coordination across departments.
  • Draft technical specifications for customer-specific developments.
  • Prepare documentation to ensure compliance with legal regulations, CE marking, contractual obligations, and QMS standards.
  • Serve as the main interface with customers and third parties, coordinating project activities from initiation to testing.
  • Collaborate with Product and Development teams to plan and deliver customer-driven enhancements.
  • Support the Delivery Coordinator by monitoring product and service deliveries, addressing non-compliance, customer complaints, or incidents.

The Ideal Candidate :

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in system integration deployments.
  • Experience with medical software installation and configuration.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Comfortable working in an international environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Customer-facing confidence.
  • Strong skills in software installation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Programming skills (VBScript or MS C# preferred).
  • Experience with Windows OS, SQL (MSSQL), and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and Web Applications.
  • Knowledge of medical device connectivity and HL7 standards (IHE, FHIR is a plus).
