As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be part of our Tech team, working closely with our CTO Andrea to develop and enhance the core technology behind Lexroom.ai. You’ll build scalable and robust backend systems, integrate advanced search technologies, and help optimize our cloud infrastructure.

What will you do

Ensure the seamless integration of our backend systems with Frontend interfaces.

Architect and bootstrap the backend infrastructure to support our NLP / ML algorithms and legal data processing pipelines.

Design and develop intuitive annotation tools to facilitate the labeling and structuring of legal data.

Craft scalable and efficient data structures to organize vast amounts of legal data.

Work closely with data scientists and legal experts to continually refine our data processing pipelines and annotation tools.

Who We're Looking For

4+ years of experience in backend development

Proficient in Python, or better you love Python

Relevant experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience with search technologies like Elasticsearch or Vector DB

Experience with TypeScript, React, and working knowledge of Machine Learning is a plus, but not required

Curious, proactive, and eager to make an impact, always exploring new ways to improve performance

Hybrid work setup : 2 days per week in our Milan office (Porta Romana)

Work on the most challenging problems in Generative AI development! (e.g. define interfaces, optimize infrastructure, handle model costs, model training for legal purposes, segregate models to handle customers’ data etc.)
