WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Software Developer - Space Missions. Join our client’s team in Rome. With over 30 years of experience, our client is a trusted partner of European governments and international organizations, specializing in IT and space services, supporting Earth observation missions, data processing, and research.

Your Tasks:

1. Oversee harvesting, ETL, and data aggregation processes within the data warehouse.
2. Conduct data mining and analysis to identify and resolve system anomalies.
3. Support conversion of satellite data to EO-SIP format by developing new converters.
4. Update existing converters for compatibility and functionality.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Secondary school diploma or higher.
• 1-3 years of proven experience.
• Design and develop interfaces between multiple systems.
• Programming experience in PL/PostgreSQL, Java, and/or Python.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Data processing and transformation skills.
• Proficiency in English (B1 or higher).
• Nice to have: Linux OS, shell scripting, BI tools, Nagios, XML/XSD, EO data products.
