DXC Technology Inc. in Milan (MI) is seeking a Software Developer to join the Market Data and Derivatives team. You will analyze functional requirements, design and develop enterprise applications, and maintain technical and functional docs.

You will also participate in testing, validation, and releases, and support daily operations of managed services. The role requires a degree in CS, hands-on software development, and strong English.

Competenze

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field.
• Previous software development experience.
• Knowledge of EMIR regulation is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control and build tools.

Job Description:Xchanging Italy, part of DXC Technology group, is looking for a Software Developer for join in Market Data and Derivatives.Responsibilities:Analyze functional requirements and regulatory developments;Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications;Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation in line with company standards;Participate in testing, validation, and release activities;Provide application support and operational oversight for the services managed by the team;Requirements:Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field;Previous experience in software development;Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST Web Services, and SQL;Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Pentaho, PowerShell, and Java EE/Jakarta EE technologies;Knowledge of Application Security practices and OWASP guidelines;Knowledge of EMIR regulation and the financial services industry is a plus;Familiarity with code versioning systems and build automation tools (Maven/Gradle) and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT);Good command of the English language.Work Location: Milan (MI) with Smartworking possibilityThe position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €40.000.
