You will work closely with product managers and development teams to remediate vulnerabilities in embedded software, ensuring high-quality code fixes. Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and experience in C/C++ programming. As a Software Developer focused on Cybersecurity Hardening you will support the remediation of embedded software affected by known vulnerabilities. The role involves close collaboration with product managers and development teams to prioritize, address, and validate security findings while ensuring high‑quality, well‑documented code fixes.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fix security vulnerabilities across embedded software codebases
• Work with product managers and developers in agile sprints to prioritise and resolve security issues
• Deliver clean, well-documented fixes that adhere to existing code conventions
• Support vulnerability analysis and remediation confirmation at validation level

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Master’s degree in Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Significant experience in programming microcontrollers and PLAs
• Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages
• Good understanding of embedded Linux environments
• Experience in developing network applications
• Independent, solution‑oriented working attitude
• Analytical thinking and meticulous work style, problem‑solving mindset and self‑motivation
• Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously
• Fluent English, knowledge of Italian and/or German is considered an advantage
