DXC Technology Italia is looking for a Software Developer to join the Applications Service DXC Team.

Application Services cover four areas: Applications Development; Applications Modernization and Transformation; Testing and Digital Assurance; Applications Management.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement business and technical software solutions to support new or upgraded systems.
• Analyze, identify, and resolve business or technical problems using appropriate tools and solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to understand business needs, technical context, and strategic goals.
• Stay updated on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with Digital Development Services, Agile, DevOps, Cloud applications, Microservices architecture, Java EE, Spring Framework, SPA frameworks, Docker, and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Knowledge of software development processes (Agile, Waterfall) and DevOps practices.
• Experience with web development tools and modern software design methodologies.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, results-oriented, decision-making abilities, and teamwork skills.

Location: Rome with remote work possibility.
