A leading technology company in Italy is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to develop customized software solutions for engineering and production processes. You will be involved in all phases of the software lifecycle, from requirements gathering to validation. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant field, has strong programming skills, and is proficient in technical English. This role offers the chance to actively contribute to continuous improvements in tools and processes.

Competenze

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C / C++, or LabVIEW.

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and innovation-driven Software Engineer to join our technical team and develop customized SW solutions to support engineering and production processes. The selected candidate will be involved in all phases of the software lifecycle—from requirements gathering to final validation—actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our tools and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop software applications (tools, scripts, interfaces) for engineering and production workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and define tool requirements.
  • Carry on tool qualification activities in accordance with RTCA DO-330 guidelines.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including development plans, requirements specifications, and verification reports.
  • Develop new testing and validation solutions for tools, in controlled environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement of internal software development processes.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C / C++, or LabVIEW.
  • Familiarity with measurement and analysis tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and digital multimeters.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to inspire and support team members.
  • Proficiency in technical English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
