Join us as a Software Architect - Mobile Cross Platform (m/f/d).

Based in our Milan Software Development Hub, you will be part of an agile team developing modern software tools to shape next-generation elevator software, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

You will lead the architecture of mobile apps for fitters and technicians, aligning with platform vision and guiding implementation within a global engineering team.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Driving future-proof mobile app architectures aligned with strategy
2. Partnering with stakeholders to shape architectural vision and technology roadmap
3. Collaborating on architectural decisions with product owners and teams
4. Ensuring platform consistency through collaboration with other architects
5. Providing technical leadership during implementation
6. Evaluating technologies via PoCs and prototypes
7. Contributing to sprint planning, estimates, and design proposals
8. Promoting modern architecture practices for continuous improvement
9. Integrating commercial and open-source frameworks
10. Participating in all development stages from planning to deployment
11. Guiding development teams and product owners on architecture

We seek a self-organized, responsible team player who can inspire and mentor both onsite and remote teams, fostering effective communication in an international environment.

Qualifications include:

• Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of software engineering, architecture practices, and mobile app development
• Proven leadership skills
• Passion for mobile apps and user experience
• Experience with cross-platform iOS and Android apps, preferably using C# and MAUI
• Proficiency with Git, JIRA, and agile practices like SCRUM/Kanban
• Experience with cloud backends and API development
• Proficiency in English; Italian and German are a plus
