A multinational engineering company in Rozzano is seeking a Software Application Engineer to develop software solutions in the aerospace and defense sectors. The successful candidate will design robust applications, work with AI technologies, and ensure quality through automated testing. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required along with knowledge in C/C++, Python, and software engineering principles.

Competenze

• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python required.
• Experience in embedded software development is a plus.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Software Application Engineer to join its office in Rozzanowithin the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

RINA Consulting is looking for a Software Engineer to produce and implement software solutions in the aerospace and defence framework. You will work with the client as developer. The aim of the activity will be to support the team in the realization of a noise filter using AI technologies.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software development best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and implementation plans.
• Write automated tests to ensure quality and enhance test coverage.
• Debug application software and support testing and validation activities.
• Document software requirements, design decisions, APIs, and implementation details.
• Maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Identify and propose improvements to software applications and processes.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python.
• Experience with desktop application frameworks (e.g., MS Visual Studio).
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
• Familiarity with requirements management and design tools (e.g., UML).
