Multronic S.r.l. in Carmagnola, part of the Batia Mosa Group, is seeking a Software Testing & Application Engineer to join our R&D hub. You will test ECU firmware, validate web applications, and support field deployments for international clients.

You will work closely with senior engineers, leverage CAN/LIN/UDS protocols, and contribute to software and hardware testing across automotive and industrial domains. Expected to travel locally for field tests and homologation activities.

Competenze

• 2–3+ years hands-on experience in automotive, industrial, or marine electronics.
• Solid understanding of CAN, LIN, Modbus, J1939, CCP, UDS protocols.
• Experience with diagnostic/calibration tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, E‑Plan or equivalent).
• Fluent in Italian and English; valid European B driver's license.

Mansioni

• Testing & validation of ECU firmware, hardware components, and web-based applications.
• Act as technical contact for clients from initial concept through validation and SOP.
• Analyze and debug communication protocols using diagnostic tools.
• Create and maintain test plans, homologation logs, and technical reports.

At **Multronic S.r.l.** (part of the Belgian Batia Mosa Group), we develop high-end software and hardware solutions for industrial, automotive, and marine applications - ranging from diesel emission reduction systems to advanced battery cooling and telemetry modules.

We are looking for a **Software Testing & Application Engineer** to join our R&D hub in Carmagnola. Working directly alongside our Lead Engineer Italy, you will play a key role in testing ECU firmware, validating web applications, and ensuring seamless field deployment for international clients.

Key Responsibilities

• **Testing & Validation**: Execute functional, integration, and performance testing for ECU firmware, hardware components, and web-based applications.
• **Customer Application Support**: Act as the technical point of contact for clients, taking technical ownership from initial concept through validation, homologation, and SOP (Start of Production).
• **Protocol & Systems Diagnostics**: Analyze and debug communication protocols (CAN bus, LIN, K-line, Modbus, J1939, UDS) using industry-standard diagnostic and calibration tools.
• **Technical Documentation**: Maintain project specs, test plans, homologation logs, and technical reports.
• **Field & Lab Testing**: Perform lab bench testing and occasional on-site testing at client vehicle/equipment sites.

Your Profile

• **Experience**: 2–3+ years of hands‑on experience in the automotive, industrial, or marine electronics sector.
• **Technical Knowledge**: Solid understanding of communication protocols: **CAN, LIN, Modbus, J1939, CCP, UDS**.
• Experience with diagnostic/calibration software tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe, E‑Plan, or equivalent).
• **Mindset**: Pragmatic, results‑oriented, and precise. You are proactive in identifying issues and proposing robust technical solutions.
• **Languages & Mobility**: Fluent in Italian and English (working language with BE/international teams). Valid European driver’s license (Category B).
