JD Group is seeking a Social Media Executive to manage JD Sports' local channels in Italy, translating global brand directives into high-impact campaigns for platforms like Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. The role requires strong English skills and 2+ years in a similar role, with a degree in Marketing or Communications.

You will own the content calendar, oversee organic and paid activity, and prepare weekly KPI reports, collaborating with Commercial/Retail and brand partners to promote campaigns

• Ensure regular content is pushed out across social media channels.
• Design, map, and publish consistent, trend-driven content streams, ensuring that all local social media platforms are visually premium and aligned with JD’s voice.
• Work on developing integrated strategies that ensure social is always in the heart of what we do.
• Work with the Commercial and Retail team to ensure all relevant products are being promoted and showcased in the best way possible.
• Work with brands and third parties on promoting campaigns and competitions.
• Contribute to development of strategies and campaign ideas that will help improve follower numbers and interaction figures across all channels.
• Analyze social media performance and KPI results to define market trends, customer behavior and industry best practice.

Role Overview

The Social Media Executive is responsible for executing strategic growth, optimization, and daily management of JD’s local social media channels. This role demands a creative, data-driven, and highly digitally savvy professional capable of translating global brand directives into high-impact local social media campaigns that enhance brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and foster a loyal online community.

The Social Media Executive will own the social media content calendar, coordinate both organic and paid social executions, and deliver structured weekly KPI performance reports.

Key Responsibilities
