JD Sports Italy is seeking a Social Media Executive to translate global brand directives into high-impact local campaigns for our Milano audience. You’ll own the content calendar and manage organic and paid social across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, driving follower growth and engagement.

With 2+ years in a similar role, fluent English, and a marketing/communication degree, you’ll collaborate with Commercial/Retail teams and brands, and report KPI-driven performance weekly.

• Execute and scale development strategies for both organic and paid social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) to continuously increase follower acquisition, engagement rates, and referral traffic.
• Ensure regular content is pushed out across social media channels.
• Design, map, and publish consistent, trend-driven content streams, ensuring that all local social media platforms are visually premium and aligned with JD's voice.
• Work on developing integrated strategies that ensure social is always in the heart of what we do.
• Work with the Commercial and Retail team to ensure all relevant products are being promoted and showcased in the best way possible.
• Work with brands and third parties on promoting campaigns and competitions.
• Contribute to development of strategies and campaign ideas that will help improve follower numbers and interaction figures across all channels.
• Analyze social media performance and KPI results to define market trends, customer behavior and industry best practice.

Role Overview

The Social Media Executive is responsible for executing strategic growth, optimization, and daily management of JD’s local social media channels. This role demands a creative, data-driven, and highly digitally savvy professional capable of translating global brand directives into high-impact local social media campaigns that enhance brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and foster a loyal online community.

The Social Media Executive will own the social media content calendar, coordinate both organic and paid social executions, and deliver structured weekly KPI performance reports.

Key Responsibilities
