• Experience in risk-related areas such as security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance, or similar, with the ability to translate security concepts into actionable plans.
• Experience managing multiple dispersed teams across regions, including hiring, development, performance management, and leadership of managers.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting.
• Advanced written proficiency in Italian and upper-intermediate proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

To maintain our security and operational continuity, we seek an experienced Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) Senior Manager. In this role, you will oversee security services across a region comprising multiple operational clusters, ensuring the safety of personnel and assets, and minimizing losses.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve strategic security goals within your region.
• Manage a team of Cluster Loss Prevention Managers providing security services across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, conduct audits, and maintain a strong physical security posture at all sites.
• Manage risks related to prevention, intervention, and investigation within your region.
• Collaborate with senior regional management to support security initiatives and provide risk guidance.

A Day in the Life

As an SLP Sr Regional Manager, you will lead a team responsible for security across various operational sites. You will ensure effective deployment of resources, oversee daily operations, and address complex issues. Your role involves evaluating risks, coaching your team, and sharing best practices. You will also be responsible for site compliance, audit processes, and physical security measures, aligning strategic goals with regional needs. Engaging with senior management, you will foster positive relationships and provide security insights.

About the Team

Within Global Security Operations, the Security and Loss Prevention team helps meet Amazon’s business objectives by protecting against threats, managing risks, and safeguarding assets. We work collaboratively to secure the supply chain, prevent incidents, and investigate security issues to prevent recurrence.

Minimum Requirements

• A relevant advanced degree, industry certification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with physical security systems, investigation techniques, and managing contract security officers.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, distribution, delivery, or supply chain environments.
• Strong business writing skills and experience communicating with senior stakeholders.
