Job Description:

Take part in the Growing On Site Training, a Development Training journey for Site Managers at Prysmian, which complements the Site Superintendent position and is managed by the Prysmian Academy with external top-ranking partners!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as the focal point with the Customer and third parties for the supervision of pre-lay activities related to the power cable system.
• Serve as the interface between Customer, Civil works contractors, and Cable laying subcontractors for planning activities, checking civil works execution, and infrastructure verification.
• Supervise laying operations performed by subcontractors.
• Maintain a record diary of site activities, managing subcontractors' execution according to the submitted plan and contract requirements.
• Supervise backfilling operations carried out by third-party companies, ensuring timing, quality, and cable protection.
• Site supervision including resources (personnel and assets), technical aspects, logistics, and HSE management.
• Enforce site safety rules to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures throughout the process.
• Assist in preparing method statements and other documentation needed for on-site work, in collaboration with and under the supervision of Installation Engineering.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferably 2-3 years of proven experience in construction sites or related interest.
• Knowledge of installation activities on land sites, preferably in the cable industry.
• Leadership qualities and ability to guide a team towards targets.
• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, target-oriented, with good priority management in coordination with management.
• Fast learner and self-committed attitude.
• Proficiency with software tools like Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Internet.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel frequently, domestically and internationally.
• Availability for long periods abroad (approx. 60-70% per year).
• Flexible schedule.
• Valid driving license.
