Site Project Engineer | Oil & Gas | Kazakhstan, Assago

This position is for a Site Project Engineer within the Oil & Gas sector, managed by Jobtech, a fully digital employment agency. The role involves working on a significant engineering project located in Kazakhstan (Caspian Sea coast), with an estimated duration of 15-18 months. After completion, the successful candidate will be permanently employed at the technical office in Assago (MI).

The engineer will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for supervising and coordinating feasibility studies (FEED - Front End Engineering Design) and preliminary design activities. Specific responsibilities include:

• Analyzing and supervising FEED activities of subcontractors
• Supporting the Project Manager in managing subcontractors
• Managing budgets and related documentation
• Coordinating technical activities and implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Monitoring workload and progress
• Supporting the Project Manager in meetings to review project status, resolve interdisciplinary issues, and validate engineering development

Requirements

• A technical degree or equivalent qualification
• Extensive experience in Project Management roles within the Oil & Gas or offshore engineering sector
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling
• Professional command of the English language
• Willingness to relocate to Kazakhstan for the duration of the project (15-18 months)

Compensation and Conditions

• Net salary: €60,000
• Contract type: Fixed-term (1 year)
• Relocation package with guaranteed travel back home
