This 1-year mission-critical contract provides an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading operations at our Casaletto Vaprio facility , a centre of excellence for aerospace transparencies manufacturing. Your Responsibilities
Operational Leadership : Oversee and optimi s e daily site operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations.
Team Management : Lead a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and operators, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Customer Focus : Partner with key stakeholders and customers in delivering outstanding aerospace transparency solutions that meet critical deadlines.
Continuous Improvement : Implement methodologies to enhance production performance, reduce waste, and exceed aerospace industry standards.
Mission Success : Ensure the success of this vital 1-year program, making a lasting impact on PPG Aerospace’s position as a global leader.
What You Bring
Experience : Proven success in site or operations management within aerospace (ideally an aviation components environment) , industrial manufacturing, or a related field. If you have experience in an union environment , this is a plus!
Expertise :
EHS, Quality and Safety management systems, Costs control
Strong understanding of aerospace compliance and quality and safety standards (e.g., EASA Part-21 Subpart G)
Leadership : Exceptional ability to inspire, manage, and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
Education : An aviation, mechanical or similar e ngineering degree .
Languages : Fluent in English and Italian, with excellent communication skills.
