Site Manager

The Site Manager is responsible for determining and ensuring the execution of work at the assignment site, impacting time, cost, quality, and safety, in compliance with environmental regulations.

Activities:
  1. Ensure compliance with Safety, Environment, and Quality regulations at work sites, adhering to local legislation.
  2. Participate in preparing the work program, checking its feasibility and potential optimizations.
  3. Ensure the execution of the work program, monitoring its progress within scheduled times and standards.
  4. Guarantee the progression and continuity of activities in line with the works program and the 'Method Statement'.
  5. Plan and coordinate the work team activities, ensuring quality, motivation, and collaboration, in accordance with the company's Code of Ethics and values.
  6. Assign activities to team members, ensuring eligibility and legal compliance.
  7. Collect and transmit reports on activity progress.
  8. Report critical issues and nonconformities to the project manager, proposing timely remedial actions within their scope.
  9. Manage relationships with suppliers, customers, Construction Management, and entities involved in authorization and logistics (e.g., disposal) to ensure proper activity execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geological Sciences, or a related technical field. Graduates with a Diploma as a Geometrician will be valued if they have at least ten years of experience in the role.
  • Knowledge of technologies and processes related to soil consolidation and foundation works.
  • Understanding of workplace safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and updates relevant to the country of operation.
  • Skills in work planning and activity monitoring techniques/methods.
  • Geotechnical expertise.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
