The mission
The primary mission of the SIMULIA Sales Expert is to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives within their territory (list of accounts, list of Brand offers). They perform end-to-end customer engagements (indirect and direct channels) from OPEN lead to CLOSE, in compliance with the DS Sales process referential, and deliver on the revenue plan.
The role involves selling 3DS value and strategic vision by promoting SIMULIA to secure customer commitment for long-term business transformation, engaging on value through the DS Framework.
What will be your role?
- Sell assigned SIMULIA offers within a defined territory.
- Perform end-to-end sales engagements compliant with the DS Referential, leveraging the DS Platform for communication internally and externally.
- Manage customer negotiations, adhering to all 3DS engagement processes (Finance, Legal), government and local regulations, DS policies, and ethical standards.
- Define a successful sales strategy to meet revenue targets and sustain growth, leveraging sales initiatives defined by Brands.
- Drive growth in the assigned territory based on Industry Market Analysis.
- Effectively communicate the value and technology of SIMULIA solutions via presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Transform marketing and sales leads into opportunities.
- Coordinate 3DS responses to Requests For Proposal (RFPs).
- Build and develop trusted relationships at the executive level and across all organizational layers to ensure sustainable business.
- Promote the 3DS vision and the SIMULIA Brand Promise.
- Contribute to best practices through Lessons Learned, including Root Cause Analysis, Analytics, and Loss reviews.
- Use and update DS CRM according to corporate guidance to ensure data accuracy.
- Provide accurate forecasts for 5 rolling quarters and the fiscal year, maintaining an appropriate pipeline.
- Act as a “Champion” within the SIMULIA Brand communities.
Key Success Factors
- Master's degree in Science.
- Previous experience in a sales role within an enterprise company.
- Knowledge of the SIMULIA suite of simulation tools is a plus.
- Experience with simulation methods and processes within Process Integration, Design Optimization tools (Isight, ModelCenter, ModeFrontier, etc.), or collaborative enterprise environments.
- Ability to develop and deliver complex solutions and demonstrations to customers.
- Ability to develop account strategies and implement sales plans.
- Strong negotiation skills and flexibility.
- Teamwork orientation.
- Fluency in English is required.
