Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated SIGNALLING V&V ENGINEER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples, Italy .

Mission

Deliver complex (in terms of number of interfaces and / or contract value) Signalling systems and subsystems that meet Signalling system and subsystem requirements, in compliance with project schedule and budget. Build the required V&V evidences.

Accountabilities

• Ensure delivery of system and subsystem Signalling solutions in compliance with requirements, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Define Signalling system and subsystem Validation Test Specifications and implement V&V activities according to governance and company guidelines.
• Coordinate with other functions and external suppliers to deliver V&V documents and evidence.
• Support V&V activities during project phases, bidding, and delivery, including planning, reviews, and field tests.
• Ensure delivery of V&V reports and evidence, maintaining independence and compliance with standards and SILs.
• Define testing environments / tools and requirements for Validation activities.

Education / Qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
