Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate semiconductor/power testing professional to join our growth phase. You will be part of a multi-site product and test engineering team responsible for the power discrete SiC (Silicon Carbide) diode portfolio. Based in Catania, your role involves supporting the development of high-performance SiC rectifiers and continuous quality improvement from wafers to final testing.
Your daily activities include:
- Reviewing industrial changes impacting SiC diode production and participating in qualification planning, data analysis, and milestone delivery in compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Monitoring engineering materials (technology, new products, industrial changes) in the clean room, tracking cycle times, scheduling tests, analyzing data, and coordinating back-end activities.
- Leading electrical wafer sorting projects using advanced testing equipment and solutions.
- Analyzing electrical sorting data to identify non-conformities and proposing dispositions based on process and electrical signatures, maintaining a comprehensive database.
- Developing statistical routines to detect outliers more effectively.

Candidate Profile:
- Master’s degree in Power Electronics, Material Science, Microelectronics, or related fields.
- Passionate about semiconductors, testing, and power devices.
- Ability to manage multiple technical topics with strong organizational skills and autonomy.
- Team-oriented with experience in multicultural environments.
- Fluent in Italian and English; French is a plus.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry dealing with power devices is highly valued.
