Job Description

Shopper Excellence Manager

Making sure that commercial organization is led into the right direction in terms of shopper fundamentals, being part of the Trade & Shopper IIG (Italy, Greece and Israel) team.

Your role:

• In this role you will be responsible for setting or translating the right and relevant strategy as well as targets for In Store Excellence & Online Excellence aligning with Commercial Leader, Consumer Marketing Leader and Western Europe team.
• You will enable the organization with tooling and analytics to help identify gaps and opportunities on shopper fundamentals.
• In this highly collaborative and consumer-oriented role, you will maintain strong collaboration between consumer marketing and sales by understanding customers’ needs/requirements, consumer and shopper behaviors as well as category strategies to achieve Point Of Sales excellence with a win-win mindset.
• You will closely collaborate with sales channel leaders, Consumer Marketing Managers, Shopper activation managers and Market Insight & Analytics for continuous improvement on fundamentals.
• You will be responsible for staying above the Chinese wall, providing promo Go to Market guidelines while driving value creation and extraction via orchestrating promo calendar and driving promo effectiveness targets.
• You will work on planning, spending and optimizing A&P budget for making sure that marketing plans are translated into set to win and optimized omnichannel shopper activation plans that are executed with excellence.
• You will be part of the Trade & Shopper IIG team, reporting to the Trade & Shopper Manager.

Key Area of Responsibilities

Promo:

• Promo guidelines per category and retail channel
• Zone promo calendar creation
• Promo plan orchestration, performance and effectiveness assessment/report out

Shopper Foundations:

• Distribution targeting, tooling, tracking & report out
• OLE targeting, tooling, tracking & report out
• ISE targeting, tooling, tracking & report out

Voice of “external reality”: What is working / not working / reco for improvement on

• Promo calendar & planning with focus on super peak and peak moments
• Promo effectiveness

You're the right fit if:

• You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration
• You have acquired around 5 years of experience preferably with a background in sales excellence and shopper marketing or as a category manager.
• Your skills include strong analytical and strategic thinking, consumer-first mindset and excellent stakeholder management and negotiation
• You are a natural storyteller and digital savvy
• You have good communication skills and excellent command of English and Italian
