A luxury footwear manufacturer is seeking a Shoes Industrial Director to lead the strategy for footwear production, ensuring compliance and driving excellence. The ideal candidate has over 20 years of experience, including significant leadership roles within the luxury sector. The position requires fluency in Italian and English, with a focus on strategic thinking and operational execution. Workplace is in Vigonza, Padua.

MISSION

Reporting to the Industrial Director of Maison CELINE, the Shoes Industrial Director builds, recommends, and implements the strategy to support the evolution of sales of Maison CELINE, as well as the other Maisons of the LVMH Fashion Group, clients of Rossimoda, with whom he/she will have to develop commercial relationships to increase turnover.

The Industrial Director Footwear manages all activities related to prototyping, internal and external development, industrialization, production, and delivery of footwear to guarantee the Time to Market of the collections. He/she must guarantee the execution of operations in order to grow Rossimoda and bring it to the level of a pole of excellence for footwear.

The Industrial Director leads the external manufacturing strategy and is responsible for the compliance of the panel of external suppliers and manufacturers with the LVMH Code of Conduct.

The Industrial Director will contribute to the Eco Design strategy to enable the achievement of the CSR objectives set by the LVMH Group.

The Industrial Director must also manage and develop the Rossimoda teams to ensure the continuity of its internal know-how.

His/her teams include approximately 215 people, distributed in Italy (Padua - 148 people) and in Romania (Cluj - 67 people). A large part of these teams consists of production personnel.

The industrial footwear management committee is composed of 6 people, respectively leading:

• Supply Chain Direction
• Product Development & Industrialization Direction
• Internal Production, HSE & Logistic Direction
• Finance Direction
• HR Direction
• Quality, After Sales and CSR Direction
  
  

The Industrial Director Footwear works closely with the Industrial Director, the studio, and the footwear product teams at the headquarters of Maison CELINE.

Profile

Academic background in engineering, economics or equivalent More than 20 years of industrial experience, including at least 3 in positions of responsibility as Industrial Director or equivalent, ideally acquired in a luxury brand or in the high-end segment of footwear Strategic thinking combined with a sense of product and quality of execution Good understanding of business issues and agile, proactive/solution-oriented mindset Commercial acumen to contribute to the development of Rossimoda, developing current and future commercial relationships Leadership Planning, organization, project management Proximity to teams and industrial network (suppliers and manufacturers) Fluent in Italian and English; French would be a plus.
