Competenze

Main Responsibilities

• Provide high quality healthcare to crew and passengers 24/7, through a clinic service and on-call provision.
• Support the Chief Ship’s Doctor and other medical team members in emergencies as required.
• Manage cases of injury, disembarking crew or guests, and medical visits/referrals ashore.
• Ensure compliance with all company-approved medical and public health procedures.

Job requirements

• Appropriate Medical Degree.
• Specialization in general medicine, surgery, internal medicine, emergency, or anesthesiology with profound medical knowledge and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate or post-registration work experience.
• Certification in Advanced Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, APLS, ATLS, or equivalent, or physician specialist training (emergency medicine, anesthesiology, or critical care).
• X-ray capabilities and valid radiation protection course verification.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of electronic data processing and computer literacy.
• Availability for a contract of 3-4 consecutive months onboard.
• Commitment to safety.
• Respect and application of company values, setting an example for others.
