Syensqo is a science company seeking an I&E Technician to maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical systems, power distribution, and instrumentation on a rotating shift. The role supports plant safety, reliability, and emergency response.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Maintenance, Electrical, or Instrumentation Technology or have at least five years of industrial I/E maintenance experience, with knowledge of NFPA 70E and SAP/CMMS.

The I&E Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting plant electrical systems, power distribution, and instrumentation. The role supports plant safety, reliability, and emergency response on a rotating shift.

• Support a strong safety culture and follow all safety protocols (including NFPA 70E).

You will bring:

• Associate Degree in Maintenance, Electrical, or Instrumentation Technology OR Minimum 5 years’ industrial I/E maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and industry standards (e.g., NFPA 70E)
• Experience with:
• Electrical systems & power distribution
• Variable speed drives & control systems
• Process instrumentation (temperature, pressure, level, etc.)
• Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience in chemical or carbon fibers manufacturing a plus

You will get:

• Competitive salary and benefits package
• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $37.13 - $42.44 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

Additional information:

This role requires availability for a rotating shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7–7). Candidates must be able to work both day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the rotation.
