Phononic Vibes Srl is seeking a Mechanical Designer to drive sheet metal product design from concept to profitable industrialization. You'll collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and scalable solutions across infrastructure, energy, and machinery applications.

The role emphasizes translating technical decisions into measurable business results, with close customer interaction and a focus on margins and BOM accuracy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years practical experience in sheet metal work and product design.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (Inventor preferred).
• Proficiency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Design 3D models and 2D drawings of product parts and assemblies with tolerances and material choices.
• Drive product margins by analyzing make-vs-buy and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Develop and own the BOM from prototype through industrialization.
• Manage industrialization and certification documentation for regulatory and customer approvals.
• Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Act as technical interface with customers to translate requirements into design specs.
