Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer.

The Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer will oversee both strategic and practical aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio. This role ensures that every commercial opportunity is supported technically, commercially, and customer-wise, supporting segment and regional drive centers with commercial products and support management. It is crucial in providing daily support for commercial activities to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and experience. The role acts as a bridge between product management, engineering, and regional drive centers to deliver exceptional application expertise, resolve challenges, and promote product adoption.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: support management of commercial products, quotation and proposal management, bid coordination, margin and profitability analysis, order management, forecasting, product and application engineering support, commercial enablement and training, feedback integration, cross-functional collaboration, performance monitoring, continuous improvement, and customer relationship building.

Travel Requirements: A minimum of 25% travel is expected, potentially increasing as needed, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.

Qualifications & Experience: Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical discipline or equivalent in automation, proven experience in servo motor product management, business development in servo motors, gear, and motion control, strong interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, financial acumen, and leadership capabilities managing cross-functional teams and projects.

Employees must be able to:

• Understand emergency instructions
• Read safety signage and hazard warnings
• Communicate effectively in specific situations (e.g., fire evacuation)
