Role Summary :

We have an exciting opportunity for a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer to join Nidec Drives.

The role involves managing both strategic and practical aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, providing commercial, technical, and customer support to maximize opportunities.

This position supports regional drive centers and segments, facilitating customer acquisition, retention, and experience by offering day-to-day support for commercial activities and bridging product management, engineering, and regional teams to deliver exceptional application expertise.

Key Job Responsibilities :

The responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Managing commercial product support
• Handling quotations and proposals
• Supporting segments and regions
• Coordinating bids
• Analyzing margins and profitability
• Order management and fulfillment
• Forecasting and pipeline support
• Providing product and application engineering support
• Enabling commercial training
• Integrating product feedback
• Collaborating cross-functionally
• Monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement
• Building customer relationships and advocacy

Travel Requirements :

Minimum 25% travel expected, possibly more, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical or automation-related field
• Proven experience in Servo Motor Product Management
• Track record in business development in servo motors, gear, and motion control
• Market, product, and application knowledge in automation
• Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building
• Technical aptitude and financial understanding
• Leadership skills managing cross-functional teams and projects

Employees must be able to :

• Understand emergency instructions
• Read safety signage and warnings
• Communicate effectively in emergency situations (e.g., fire evacuation)
