Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer.

The Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer will oversee both strategic and hands-on aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, ensuring commercial, technical, and customer-facing support for every opportunity.

This role involves supporting segment and regional drive centres on commercial products and support management, providing day-to-day support to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and experience. It acts as a bridge between product management, engineering, and regional drive centres to deliver application expertise, resolve challenges, and promote product adoption.

Travel Requirements: A minimum of 25% travel, possibly more, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.

Qualifications & Experience: Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical discipline or equivalent in automation. Proven experience in Servo Motor Product Management. Business development experience in Servo Motors, Gear, and Motion Control. Strong interpersonal, technical, and financial skills. Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.

Employees must understand emergency instructions, read safety signage, and communicate effectively in emergencies (e.g., fire evacuation).
