Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join Nidec Drives as a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer.
The Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer will oversee both strategic and hands-on aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, ensuring commercial, technical, and customer support for every opportunity.
This role supports Segment and regional drive centres on commercial products and support management, providing day-to-day support for commercial activities to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and experience. It bridges product management, engineering, and regional drive centres to deliver application expertise, resolve challenges, and drive product adoption.
Key Responsibilities: Support management of commercial products, quotations, proposals, bid coordination, margin and profitability analysis, order management, forecasting, product engineering, technical support, commercial enablement and training, product lifecycle feedback, cross-functional collaboration, performance monitoring, customer relationships.
Travel Requirements: A minimum of 25% travel, possibly more, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.
Qualifications & Experience: Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical discipline or equivalent; proven experience in Servo Motor Product Management; business development in Servo Motors, Gear, and Motion Control; strong interpersonal, technical, and financial skills; leadership in managing teams and projects.
Employees must be able to understand emergency instructions, read safety signage, and communicate effectively in emergencies.
