Role Summary :

We have an exciting opportunity for a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer to join Nidec Drives.

The Engineer will oversee both strategic and hands-on aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, providing commercial, technical, and customer-facing support to maximize opportunities.

This role supports regional drive centers and is key to enhancing customer acquisition, retention, and experience by bridging product management, engineering, and regional support teams.

Key Job Responsibilities :

The responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Managing commercial product support
• Quotation & proposal management
• Supporting segments and regions
• Bid coordination
• Analyzing margins & profitability
• Order management & fulfillment
• Forecasting & pipeline support
• Providing application engineering & technical support
• Commercial enablement & training
• Integrating product feedback into lifecycle management
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Monitoring performance & driving continuous improvement
• Building customer advocacy & relationships

Travel Requirements :

Minimum 25% travel expected, possibly more, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical or automation field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in Servo Motor Product Management
• Track record in business development within Servo Motors, Gear, and Motion Control
• Knowledge of automation markets and products
• Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building
• Technical aptitude and financial acumen
• Leadership skills for managing teams and projects

• Read safety signage and hazard warnings
• Communicate effectively in safety-critical situations
