Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer to join Nidec Drives.

The Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer will oversee strategic and hands-on aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, providing commercial, technical, and customer support to maximize opportunities.

This role supports regional drive centres on commercial products and management, ensuring customer acquisition, retention, and experience are optimized. It acts as a bridge between product management, engineering, and regional centres to deliver application expertise, resolve challenges, and promote product adoption.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support management for commercial products, quotations, proposals, and bid coordination
• Analyze margins and profitability
• Order management and fulfillment
• Forecasting and pipeline support
• Product and application engineering support
• Commercial enablement and training
• Product lifecycle management and feedback integration
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Performance monitoring and continuous improvement
• Customer advocacy and relationship building

Travel Requirements: Minimum 25% travel, possibly more, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.

Qualifications & Experience: Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical discipline or equivalent, proven experience in Servo Motor Product Management, business development in servo motors, gear, and motion control, with strong technical and financial skills. Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects is essential.
