Role Summary :

We have an exciting opportunity for a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer at Nidec Drives.

The engineer will oversee both strategic and operational aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, ensuring commercial, technical, and customer support for our products.

This role involves supporting regional drive centers on commercial products and management, providing day-to-day support to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and experience.

The position is key to bridging product management, engineering, and regional teams to deliver application expertise, resolve challenges, and promote product adoption.

Key Job Responsibilities :

The responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Managing commercial product support
• Quotation & proposal management
• Supporting segments and regions
• Bid coordination
• Analyzing margins & profitability
• Order management & fulfillment
• Forecasting & pipeline support
• Application engineering & technical support
• Providing commercial enablement & training
• Feedback integration into product lifecycle
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Monitoring performance & continuous improvement
• Building customer relationships & advocacy

Travel Requirements :

Minimum 25% travel expected, possibly more, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical or automation field
• Proven experience in Servo Motor Product Management
• Track record in business development within Servo Motors, Gear, and Motion Control
• Knowledge of automation markets and applications
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Technical aptitude and financial understanding
• Leadership skills managing cross-functional projects

• Communicate effectively in emergency situations
