A leading chemical manufacturing company in Italy is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing within various indirect categories. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in procurement and strong negotiation skills. Responsibilities include preparing bidder lists, organizing tenders, and ensuring compliance with internal processes. A university degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.

Competenze

  • 4/5 years of Purchasing experience for categories in scope.
  • Experience in operating in an international challenging environment.
  • Experience in end-to-end tender management (RFx Process).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Overview

Within the Procurement Department of NextChem spa, this role has the responsibility to procure Services related to the following Indirect categories:

  • General Services (Canteen, Car Fleet, Car Rental Travel, Security, Cleaning, Hotels, Office Supplies)
  • HR (Training & Recruitment Services)
  • ICT (Hardware, Software, Fixed & Mobile Telecommunications)
  • Expediting & Inspection Services
  • Associations & Events
  • Communication and Marketing activities
  • Utilities
Responsibilities
  • Preparation of bidder lists
  • Organize and run tenders leveraging also e-Procurement System
  • Economic and contractual negotiation of contracts and associated contracts terms and conditions
  • Perform Economical Bid Evaluation and propose awarding
  • Secure compliance with internal procedures and protocols
  • Identify and propose cost savings / process improvement opportunities also through constant interfacing with Group Companies
Required Skills
  • 4 / 5 years of Purchasing experience for categories in scope
  • Experience in operating in international challenging environment
  • Experience in end-to-end tender management (RFx Process). E-procurement systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in preparing and executing negotiations with suppliers both on costs and contracts Terms & Conditions
  • Experience in contract preparation
  • Ability to interface and manage Internal Stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Problem solving skills and ability to resolve conflicting situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Team player with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Good computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications and SAP
  • Availability to travel for short periods in Italy and abroad.
Education

University Degree in Business & Economics or Engineering is a plus
