This 12-month internship program focuses on developing new Automotive Service Technicians through hands-on training and technical skill development. What To Expect

• Start Date : July 2025
• Duration : 12 months (fixed term contract)

Here at Tesla, our technicians are the backbone of our Service operation. As the newest member of Tesla’s brand-new Service Technician Traineeship Program, you’ll play a key part in supporting us in our mission ‘to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy’ and forming our next generation of Automotive Service Technicians. We’ve created some of the most innovative vehicles ever made, and as a Service Technician Trainee, you’ll help ensure these vehicles are repaired & maintained to a high standard for our customers.

During this 12-month training program (with fixed term contract), you will receive world-class training from Tesla technical trainers who are experts in their field. A strong emphasis on fundamental skills and knowledge will set the foundation of your career as a Tesla Technician. All program training will be hosted from our dedicated training facilities and Tesla Service Centers.

This program has a strong focus on potential rather than academic achievement. The recruitment process will only consist of two stages : a short telephone screening call with a Tesla Recruiter and an in-person interview.

What You'll Do

• Learn and understand how to perform basic inspections, repairs & service of Tesla vehicles
• Perform entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla vehicles
• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new and used cars
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
• Follow safety protocols & maintain professionalism
• Help to maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars and workshop
• Learn effectively & efficiently throughout a fast-paced hybrid training schedule
• Handle multiple priorities, workload, and deadlines
• Pass the mid-point & end-point program assessments to graduate

While this format may be subject to change depending on business needs, you can expect to learn technical modules such as : Chassis, Body, Glazing, Electrical, Infotainment, Driver Assistance Systems, Drivetrain, Thermal Systems, Vehicle inspection, and Service. During our ‘enrichment weeks,’ you'll also have opportunities to experience other Tesla functions to broaden your skills beyond the core program.

What You'll Bring

• Mechanical, electrical, or engineering-based experience (certification in automotive, aviation, or marine is preferred but not required)
• EU Driving License
• Enthusiasm for a fast-paced hands-on training program
