Overview:

CRA is the leading manufacturer of pool enclosures, screened lanais, and screened front entries in Florida. We are a family-owned, local business that is embedded within the communities we serve. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking quality technician with a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for performing service and repairs on our company products and addressing issues that may arise.

To ensure success as a Service Technician, you should have a strong working knowledge of pool cage manufacturing, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You should have the fortitude to drive accountability and quality across a diverse manufacturing team. Ultimately, a top-class quality technician can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.

Responsibilities for Quality Control Technician:

  • Perform on-site repairs, including but not limited to aluminum pool cage frame repairs, screen replacements, and structural adjustments.
  • Execute warranties and manage change orders as per client requests, ensuring compliance with company standards and client satisfaction.
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with aluminum pool cages, recommending appropriate solutions and repair plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including job details, parts used, and customer interactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and providing clear communication regarding service progress.
  • Manage and maintain service equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and ensure it is fully stocked with necessary materials.
  • Collaborate with the office team to schedule appointments and prioritize urgent service needs.

Qualifications for Service Technician:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection, service, and/or production experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, angles, and imperial measurements.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds when needed.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to engage the team to explain quality issue findings and address solutions.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Active driver's license required.
  • Spanish speaking a plus.

Accountability:

Reports to Branch Manager for all responsibilities.
