Service Technician

Activities and Responsibilities

For the Industrial Division of the Headquarter FIAMM of Montecchio Maggiore (VI), we are looking for a Service Technician. The person will be responsible for the following activities:

1. Installation and maintenance of batteries on site
2. Checks of battery parameters
3. Identification of defects on installed products
4. Issuing reports of maintenance and installation
5. Use of instruments such as Multimeter, Hydrometer, manual dielectric test, tools
6. Manage and assist on-site assemblers (external installation companies) during installation activities of battery systems
7. Organize trips to various sites (travel globally)

Requirements of the position

• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Reading of wiring diagrams
• Reading of drawings and technical specifications
• Knowledge of electrical standards
• Knowledge of lead-acid battery operation
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of English language
