This position reports to

Service Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products within the Motion Service Division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. As part of the Motion Services sales team, you'll help customers around the globe by maximizing uptime, extending product life cycles, and enhancing the performance and energy efficiency of electrical motion solutions. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the Motion Service Division for Motors in North Italy: Lombardia, Triveneto, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Abruzzo. You’ll be responsible for sales in the assigned area. Main stakeholders are End Users in all industrial segments. Main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient sales & marketing activities and communicating value propositions related to the Service Drives portfolio: contracts, maintenance, spare parts, trainings, replacement of obsolete products
  • Managing sales target volumes, product & solutions mix
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities and customers
  • Providing customers with an excellent professional experience
  • Analyzing customer needs to offer customized solutions
  • Communicating details of ABB’s offerings and strategy to customers
Qualifications for the role
  • At least 3 years of experience in Service Sales or Technical field
  • Passionate about sales with strong relationship-building skills
  • Availability to visit customers in North Italy at least 3 days per week
  • Knowledge of Electric Motors, Rotating Electric Machines, with experience with End Users
  • Proficiency in Office and Salesforce (preferred)
  • Technical diploma/degree in Engineering (preferred)
  • Fluent in Italian and English
