A leading provider of load-handling solutions is seeking a Dealer Relationship Manager based in Italy. You will drive sales through the dealer network, manage dealer performance, and support service product training. The role requires 5+ years of experience in service sales and excellent communication skills in English and Italian. The opportunity includes travel and potential for remote work outside travel days.

Purpose of the position

Together, we keep everyday life moving to build a better tomorrow! This role provides guidance, training, and support to dealers on the organization's Services products, and drives dealer metrics and performance. The Dealer Relationship Manager maintains a working knowledge of Services products and programs, ensuring dealer organizations comply with organizational policies and standards. The position is based in Italy, with business trips required; remote work is possible outside of travel days.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of parts, contracts, accessories, and other service products through the Hiab Service dealer network.
  • Manage service coverage within the geographical area by optimizing the dealer network.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit new dealers in defined regions and countries.
  • Develop the dealer network by managing service agreements and renewal processes.
  • Make regular visits to dealers to identify sales opportunities.
  • Set targets and develop the performance of the service dealer network.
  • Oversee business management activities within sales forecast planning and dealer standards.
  • Manage internet appointment leads via inbound and outbound calls and emails.
  • Support the development of dealer performance standards, audit processes, and site selection for expanding dealer operations.
  • Develop dealer service offerings in cooperation with the dealer network.
  • Coordinate with Services Active Sales Operations on dealer improvement activities.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review department activities and provide reports via Salesforce and other tools.
  • Participate in exhibitions and conferences.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in service sales or industrial goods sales within the automotive or agricultural industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Proficiency in Google applications including Slides, Sheets, Docs, and Gmail.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, modern environment.
  • Customer service mindset, motivation for sales, and closing skills.
  • Basic understanding of business concepts, KPIs, and customer success criteria.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
