  • Service Project Manager

We have an opportunity for a Service Project Manager to join us at Honeywell.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing medium to large projects (generally over 80K) close to the Service Team. This includes providing support and tasking direction to Field Service Engineers, Field Service Leaders, and Sub-contractors. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, forecasting, planning, risk identification, change order management, billing, payments, and increasing the Service Bank.

This is a field role, with up to 50% travel to customers in Italy.

Key requirements
  • Overall responsibility for completing assigned Service Projects on time, within scope, with positive deviation.
  • Lead creation and maintenance of the project plan.
  • Monitor financial performance monthly.
  • Manage project-specific Service Operations teams, ensuring adherence to policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
  • Control costs and maximize productivity using effective tools and processes.
  • Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials, maintaining inventory levels.
  • Develop detailed Project Plans, schedule milestones, identify risks, and ensure delivery.
  • Participate in estimate reviews and risk assessments prior to quoting jobs.
  • Manage performance, conduct appraisals, and provide coaching and development.
  • Track project status, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams for effective handovers and resource utilization.
  • Ensure a safe work environment through communication, training, and maintenance.
Key skills and qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, problem-solving attitude.
  • Good time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Technical knowledge in Building Automation, BMS, Networking, Cybersecurity, Energy Sustainability.
  • Leadership ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to motivate teams.
  • Drive for results, resilience, and innovative thinking.
  • Engineering/Management degree; PMI Certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
