Service Manager Italy

Your role

  • Manage a team of Service Engineers (both Field Service as well as either onsite at customers as well as in our own workshops) and inside sales for our customers in the Italian industry, R&D and Analytics markets.
  • Ensure the on-site application of the standard procedures for the revision and maintenance of vacuum pumps and contribute to the drafting of these procedures together with the other Busch branches
  • Actively collaborate with service team of the company to provide the necessary support to their own and others' work and make a valuable contribution to the company's success.
  • Organize the internal and external service activity to guarantee quality, efficiency and speed of response
  • Communicate and align daily with the production sites located in Germany, Switzerland and France for the definition for exchange information with Marketing and Sales support to support main customers, for product training, delivery check, etc.
  • Collaborate with the sales function on acquired and potential customers of services and ensure stable contracts for the maintenance and supply of spare parts for Busch products
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the sales function to study sales policies and commercial actions aimed at promoting the sale not only of products (pumps and systems), but also of maintenance and assistance and after sales services
  • Establish and follow up on critical KPIs. Take care of them in SAP.
  • Regular Data entry and data maintenance in the company CRM updated by reporting visits, projects and activities that you are developing with the customers.
  • Manage end-to-end quotation, sales order processing, and customer coordination in SAP C4 & ERP, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless transaction flow from quote to delivery.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, or equivalent.
  • Preferably previous technical-commercial experience of at least 4-5 years - vacuum technology knowledge and/or a previous experience in a similar field is a plus
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams in dynamic environments
  • Fluent Italian language skills with an excellent level of English, knowledge of German and French is a plus
  • Result-driven
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Outstanding relational and communication skills
  • Negotiation and customer management skills;
  • Willing to travel as required (up to 50%) in Italy or abroad for training/internal meetings.
