IMCD Italia is seeking a Service & Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate honesty, transparency, respect, responsibility, and a keen attention to financial and technical details related to their role. They should act responsibly and with an entrepreneurial spirit, aligned with company directives. Proactivity, dynamism, interest in social and technological trends, and initiative within their role are key to professional and company success.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with post-sales maintenance of instruments sold by the Business Unit (BU).

Tasks

• Visit clients to provide technical assistance and maintenance for laboratory instruments managed by the BU.
• Prepare and send repair and assistance quotes.
• Promote and properly manage maintenance contracts and technical assistance offers.
• Work in synergy with the Sales Managers of the BU to promote the BU's product range to clients.
• Manage relationships with technical representatives of the manufacturers.
• Maintain ongoing technical-commercial relationships with clients.
• Monitor spare parts inventory necessary for technical assistance.
• Collaborate with Commercial Assistants and all relevant company functions involved in technical-commercial client relationships.

Personal and Managerial Skills

The Service & Maintenance Assistant is expected to achieve results primarily through their own efforts, in collaboration with all company functions. High-quality work, punctuality, reliability, and good teamwork are essential.

Reporting Lines

• Educational Qualification: Electrotechnical diploma.
• Work Experience & Training: Ideally, at least 1 year in a similar role.
• Languages: Italian and English.
• Additional Skills: Office Suite, ERP systems, CRM.
