Marine Handling Solutions

Product Line (PL) Marine Handling Solutions (MHS) is a supplier of high-end equipment to the Oil & Gas, Offshore, and marine segments. MHS product areas include Offshore Cranes, Winches, Lifting & Handling Equipment, and Access Equipment. The main office for MHS is in Bergen, with an assembly site in Gdynia and design offices in Bratislava and Rijeka. We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of: Service Engineer/Field Engineer MHS (F/M/D).

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for Service Engineers to join us at Palfinger Marine Italy S.r.l. Whether you are an experienced senior engineer or starting your service career at a junior level, Palfinger Marine offers an environment to unleash your potential!

Your Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, inspection, and servicing of cranes, deck equipment, and machinery
• Performing scheduled and unscheduled service interventions worldwide, both onshore and offshore
• Providing technical support on-site and remotely
• Planning and preparing service interventions
• Complying with company and client HSE policies
• Adhering to applicable company policies and quality systems
• Travel estimated at 150+ days per year

Your Qualifications

• Technical education or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, Automation, PLC (Siemens TIA/S7, HMI, Frequency Drives)
• Maritime or offshore experience is an advantage
• Proficiency in English and Italian, written and spoken
• Excellent communication and cooperation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues
• Structured, creative, and able to multi-task
• Qualification for offshore health certificate is mandatory
