We are now looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our Site Management team (commissioning and installation activities on Italian shipyards) as part of ANCS/ Customer Delivery SE Org.

The position is permanent. The preferred location for the position is in Genoa, Italy.

Wartsila APSS, part of the ANCS business and mainly in charge of the Italian Cruise Market, is now looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a high technical attitude to join our Site Management Team and establish a strong relationship with our Customers.

The person will report to the Site Manager.

In this position, your work will include performing commissioning and field service activities according to the work plan.
On a typical day, you might start with access to the shipyard or travel to the final location where you will find the vessel having all the naval equipment ready and end the day with the work report signed and accepted by the customer.

You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independence, as you will have the support from colleagues in Site Management and the technical office.
To be the best match, we expect you to have an understanding of automation systems and a minimum of 2 years of experience on board cruise & merchant vessels. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience with Platinum, XD-DNA, and Lyngso Automation systems.
