We are now looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our Site Management team (commissioning and installation activities on Italian shipyards) part of ANCS/ Customer Delivery SE Org.

The position is permanent. The preferred location for the position is in Genoa, Italy.

Wartsila APSS, part of ANCS business and mainly in charge of the Italian Cruise Market, is now looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with high technical attitude, to join our Site Management Team and establish a strong relation with our Customers.

The person will report to the Site Manager.

In this position, your work will include performing commissioning and field service activities according to the work plan.
On a typical day, you might be starting with access on shipyard or travel to the final location where you can find the vessel having all the naval equipment ready and end the day with having in your hands the work report signed and accepted by the customer.

You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independence, as you will have the support from colleagues part of Site Management and colleagues part of the technical office.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have an understanding of automation systems and experience of a minimum of 2 years on board cruise & merchant vessels. As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience on Platinum, XD-DNA, and Lyngso Automation systems.
