• This role will pay between €150 - €250 per day dependant on SEO experience and editing skills

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented French SEO Content Editor to join our UK company with large US clients.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct keyword research to identify head terms and secondary keywords with a view to creating high-ranking blog posts for our clients within the SaaS niche
• Create SEO-optimized content outlines for writers based on this research.
• Review and edit French-language articles and website copy for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and style
• Optimize existing client content for SEO.
• Ensure that the content is clear, concise, and consistent with company style guidelines
• Identify and correct errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax
• Check for consistency in style, formatting, and usage
• Ensure that the content is appropriate for the intended audience
• Work closely with the content team to ensure that all content is delivered on time and to the highest standard
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement where necessary
• Review sample content written in French to help the recruitment team assess the ability of writers
• Detailed knowledge of SEO is a strong requirement.
• Work closely with the English-speaking content and editing team
• Requirements
• Native French speaker with excellent written and spoken French language skills
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in SEO, single-page analysis, and keyword research.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors in grammar, punctuation, and syntax
• Proven experience as a copy editor or similar role
• Strong understanding of French grammar, style, and usage
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. All communications with the employer will be conducted in English
