Senior Workday Time Tracking & Absence Configuration Analyst, Torino

This role is with a global organization undergoing a multi-phase HR transformation and Greenfield Workday implementation. They are looking for a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant to join their HRIS team.

This is a fully remote, permanent position based in Italy or Spain. The successful candidate will lead the configuration and optimization of the Time Tracking & Absence modules, working closely with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner.

About the Role:

You will be actively configuring Workday, shaping business processes, and supporting the successful rollout of Time Tracking & Absence functionalities within a broader transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead as the functional and configuration expert for Workday Time Tracking & Absence
• Design, configure, and test business processes with Workday consultants and internal teams
• Translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations
• Perform core configuration tasks such as eligibility rules, time codes, and accruals
• Support integration with time clocks, payroll, and third-party tools
• Lead SIT, UAT, and parallel testing phases
• Create training materials and conduct user training
• Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer

Qualifications:

• 4–5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience in Time Tracking & Absence
• Experience with Workday implementations (in-house or consulting)
• Strong understanding of HR, time, and absence business processes and compliance
• Ability to manage complex configurations independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
