A global organization is seeking a Senior Workday Time Tracking & Absence Configuration Analyst to lead the configuration and optimization of Workday modules. This fully remote, permanent position is integral to an HR transformation program. Ideal candidates will have significant hands-on Workday experience and take charge of designing, testing, and delivering robust configurations while collaborating closely with stakeholders.

A global organisation undergoing a multi-phase HR transformation and Greenfield Workday implementation is looking for a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant to join their growing HRIS team.

This is a fully remote , permanent role (Italy or Spain based). You'll take the lead in configuring and optimising the Time Tracking & Absence modules, collaborating with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner.

About the Role :

This hands-on position will see you actively configuring Workday, shaping business processes, and ensuring a successful rollout of Time Tracking & Absence functionality as part of a wider transformation programme.

• Act as the functional and configuration lead for Workday Time Tracking & Absence
• Design, configure, and test business processes in partnership with Workday consultants and internal teams
• Translate business needs into scalable Workday configurations
• Execute core configuration tasks (eligibility rules, time codes, accruals, etc.)
• Support integration with time clocks, payroll, and third-party tools
• Lead SIT, UAT, and parallel testing
• Create training documentation and provide user training
• Deliver post-go-live support and knowledge transfer to internal teams
• 4–5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience (Time Tracking & Absence)
• Workday implementation experience (in-house or consulting)
• Strong understanding of HR / time / absence business processes and compliance
• Ability to work independently on complex configurations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
